Karon, Marshall 68 Jan. 19, 1943 Nov. 10, 2011

Marshall Karon, beloved husband of Rosemarie, father of Mark and brother of Barbara Plous, passed away after several years of illness, on Nov. 10, 2011, at the age of 68.

Prior to hospitalization, he led a very active lifestyle including skiing, hiking and biking. Long-distance hiking was his greatest passion, leading him to finish the Pacific Crest Trail, the Colorado Trail and many others. He also loved his work as well as his team of colleagues and was productive in his field until the end.

Marshall is greatly missed by family, friends and coworkers. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pacific Crest Trail Association, one of the many non-profit organizations to which Marshall contributed and gave his time.
